Explanation:

when the velocity in horizontal surface is in straight way then when the surface includes by angle theta then there would be no change in the direction of velocity instead the components of velocity acts on the body ...i.e.,

components of velocity -> Vsin∅ and Vcos∅

here , the Vsin∅acts perpendicular to the body sliding and Vcos∅ acts on the way ..

K.E = 1/2m(v²-u²)

= 1/2m[(vcos∅)²-(ucos∅)²]

= 1/2m(v²-u²)cos²∅.....
