to differenciate between conductors and insulators of heat

A conductor easily transfers energy in the form of electricity and/or heat, while an insulator does not easily transfer these types of energy. ... the conductors can pass electricity through them due to free electrons present in them. forexample: iron, copper, aluminium etc.

conductors :- as this name suggests that anything passes as the same way the materials which allows the heat to pass through them are known as conductors of heat


insulators are totally opposite from conductors they don't allow heat to pass through them
