Sameer and Mita draw a picture together.

Sameer need= 2/5 of an hour

                     = 2/5 of 60min = 2*12

                     = 24 minutes

Mita needs = 5/12 of an hour

                   = 5/12 of 60 minutes = 5*5

                   = 25 minutes

= Answer = (i) Mita draws a picture individually in 25 minutes and Sameer takes 24 minutes.

(ii) Mita takes longer time . She takes 25 minutes.

Answer:

Sameer takes 24 minutes & Mita takes 25 minutes.

Step-by-step explanation:

1 hour = 60 minutes

The time required by Sameer =>  2/5th of an hour

                                        => \frac{2}{5} × 60

                                        => 2 × 12

                                        => 24 minutes

The time required by Mita =>  5/12th of an hour

                                        => \frac{5}{12} × 60

                                        => 5 × 5

                                        => 25 minutes

Therefore, the time required by Sameer to draw is 24 minutes of an hour

                                              &

the time required by Mita to draw is 25 minutes of an hour.

Hence, Mita takes longer time to draw a picture than Sameer.
