EXPLANATION.

Graph.

⇒ 2x - 3y = 12.

As we know that,

Put the value of x = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 2(0) - 3y = 12.

⇒ - 3y = 12.

⇒ 3y = - 12.

⇒ y = - 4.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-4).

Put the value of y = 0 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 2x - 3(0) = 12.

⇒ 2x = 12.

⇒ x = 6.

Their Co-ordinates = (6,0).

To find :

Value of x when y = 4.

Put the value of y = 4 in the equation, we get.

⇒ 2x - 3y = 12.

⇒ 2x - 3(4) = 12.

⇒ 2x - 12 = 12.

⇒ 2x = 12 + 12.

⇒ 2x = 24.

⇒ x = 12.

Option [C] is correct answer.
