at first,draw a line segment of any length. Then from one end, with radius more than half of the line segment, draw two arcs.. one above and the other below the line. Then with the other end and same radius, draw two arcs again that intersects the previous arcs and join them. you will get the perpendicular bisector. Repeat the same method in the perpendicular bisector. you will get two equal parts of the bisector and then repeat again the method for the two equal parts.. you will obtain four equal parts.
