Cp of first dal=30*36=1080
Cp of secomd kind dal=26*20=520
Total cp=1080+520=1600
Total amt of dal=30+26=56kg
Total sp of dal =30*56=1680
Profit =1680-1600 =80
Profit %=80 /1600 *100 =5%

Answer:

The profit he make by selling the mixture is Rs. 80.

Solution:

Given, Total amount of mixture = 30kg + 26kg = 56kg.

Cost of 30 kg dal = 30 x Rs 36 = Rs 1080

Cost of 26 kg dal = 26 x Rs 20 = Rs 520

Total cost of the mixture = Rs 1080 + Rs 520 = Rs 1600.

The shopkeeper sold the whole mixture at = Rs 30/kg

Selling price of 56 kg dal = Rs 30 x 56 = Rs 1680

Thus, Profit = Rs 1680 – Rs 1600 = Rs 80

Hence, his profit is Rs 80.
