Answer:

Number of containers required to filled the tank = 50

Step-by-step explanation:

To fill a storage tank of wheat, 20 containers full of wheat are required.

Now, The capacity of the containers by which the tank is filled are reduced by 2/5

So, we need to find the number of containers of wheat that are required to fill the tank after reducing the capacity

So, Let the containers required be x

Then, It can be represented as :

20 : x = 2/5 : 1

⇒ x = 20 × 5/2

⇒ x = 5 × 10

⇒ x = 50

Therefore, Number of containers required to filled the tank = 50
