a = 3, d = 5

30th term = a + (n–1) d = 3 + (30–1) × 5

= 3+29×5 = 3+145 = 148

30th term of AP is 148

Explanation:

Given:

The term AP is 3,8,13,18

To find:

The 30th term

Formula:

First term = a

Second term =a+d

Third term = a+2d

Fourth term = a+3d

Like that,

30th term = a+29d

d(difference) = second term - First term

Solution:

==>  The term AP is  3,8,13,18

==> The first term is 3

==> a=3

==> The difference between each term is 5

==> 8-3 =5

==> 13-8 =5

==> 18-13=5

==> d=5

==> Apply the a and d the value in the formula

==> 30th term = a+29d

==> 30th term = 3+29(5)

==> 30th term = 3+145

==> 30th term = 3+145

==> 30th term = 148

30th term of AP is 148
