It should be AP/AB=2/5 rather than AB/AP=2/5....
Thus,

AB/AP=5/2

Now, AB/AP - 1 = 5/2-1

Therefore, BP/AP=3/2

So, AP/BP=2/3

Hence, required ratio is 2:3!
