In addition to what you have asked I will give some extra things .
Foacal lenth of concave mirror- negative for real image,positive for virtual image
Focal lenth of convex mirror -always positive
If value of m is in negative it means image is real image and if it is positive then its a virtual image. this also applies to lenses
U I.e object distance is always negative for lenses and mirrors
V I.e image distance is negative for concave mirror when image is real,for convex lens similarly
Image is positive for convex mirror and concane lens
In lenses usually the sign of focal length depends on the side where object is formed . For example if it forms on right side focal length is positive and vice versa
Formula for mirror
1/v+1/u=1/f
M= -v/u =h'/h
H'is image height and h is object height
For lenses
1/v-1/u= 1/f
M=v/u=h'/h
