To find focal length of a concave mirror by uv method

Bitti13: What do you mean by uv method?? :-)
Bitti13: Do u want the formula . If not then there must be a value of u or v given :-D

1/f=1/u+1/v
using mirror formula

In addition to what you have asked I will give some extra things .
Foacal lenth of concave mirror- negative for real image,positive for virtual image
Focal lenth of convex mirror -always positive
If value of m is in negative it means image is real image and if it is positive then its a virtual image. this also applies to lenses

U I.e object distance is always negative for lenses and mirrors

V I.e image distance is negative for concave mirror when image is real,for convex lens similarly
Image is positive for convex mirror and concane lens

In lenses usually the sign of focal length depends on the side where object is formed . For example if it forms on right side focal length is positive and vice versa

Formula for mirror
1/v+1/u=1/f
M= -v/u =h'/h
H'is image height and h is object height

For lenses
1/v-1/u= 1/f
M=v/u=h'/h
