Here we have to find the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.

Now the formula of the circumference of the circle is 2\pi r

The diameter of the circle is twice its radius

So it can be written as

Diameter = 2r

Now, we will take the ratio of the circumference and the diameter

\frac{circumference}{diameter}=\frac{2\pi r}{2r}\frac{circumference}{diameter}=\pi

Therefore, the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter will be π
