Answer:

2x-1=0

x=1/2

4(1/2)²-6(1/2)²-4(1/2)+k

1-3/2-2+k

2-3-4+2k=0

-1-4+2k=0

-5+2k=0

k=5/2 is the answer of this question OK

g(x) = 2x-1

2x = 1

x = 1/2

p(x) = 4x³ - 6x² - 4x + k

= 4(1/2)³ - 6(1/2)² - 4(1/2) + k

= 4×1/8 - 6×1/4 - 4×1/2 + k

= 1/2 - 3/2 - 2 + k

= 2/2 - 2 + k

= 1 - 2 + k

= -1 + k

k = 1
