If two flat mirrors are placed at an angle ø. Then number of images of an object placed between mirrors are = (360/ø) - 1 .

In order to get multiple images, (360/ø) - 1 should be equal to or greater than 2.

Let's we have to obtain 2 images,

Then (360/ø) - 1 = 2

(360/ø) = 3 or ø = 120 degree..

To obtain two images the angle should be less than or equal to 120 and greater than 90 degree.

To obtain more than two images the angle should be less than or equal to 90 degree.

Hence, to obtain multiple (more than 2) images of an object, the angle between two flat mirrors should be less than or equal to 90 degree.
