To identify acid, base and neutral. Three liquids are given to you. One is hydrochloric acid another is sodium hydroxide and third is sugar solution. How will you identify them? You have only litmus paper.
Remember guys it's written litmus paper not Turmeric indicator. so plzz help me.

First of all, take a litmus paper, say blue color. Now, dip the half of the litmus paper in the HCl, it turns into red. Now dip the remaining half of the paper in the sugar solution. Since the sugar solution is acidic, it also makes the other half part of the litmus paper turn red. Now you have turned the blue litmus paper into red one. Now dip this blue paper in the NaOH. It turns blue

That's all.... You've used a single litmus paper to test all the three substances
