The animal can be differentiated in to Herbivorous, Carnivorous and Omnivorous based on food habits. In food chain the primary energy holders are plants or green tress, due to direct usage of sunlight.

EXPLANATION:

The Herbivorous depend on these green vegetation for food and energy source where are carnivorous depend on herbivorous and Omnivorous depend on all the above.

• Example for herbivorous are deer, cow, human.
• The carnivorous example are tiger, hippopotamus etc.
• Example for omnivorous are pigs, bear, rats etc.
