Answer:We know that according to Faraday's Law  when the magnetic flux linking a coil changes, an electromotive force is induced in the circuit proportional to the rate of change of the flux linkage. So, to  induce an emf in a coil, the magnetic flux linked with the coil should be changed and for that  magnetic flux either should increase or decrease.
