GIVEN :- R=2000, L = 2/ PI ,V = 200 sin 100 PI t

REQUIRED TO FIND :- XL, Z , i =?

☆SOLUTION ☆

(1) Inductive reactance :-

☆ XL = WXL☆

1W = 100 ×Pi

=> XL = W × 2/Pi

=> 100 × pi × 2 / pi.

Pi gets canceled.

=> 100 × 2 = 200.

》Hence, XL = 200.

(2) Impedence:-

$= > z = \sqrt{r {}^{2} + (xl ){}^{2} }$

=> Z = _/ 200^2 + 200 ^2

(3) Peak current :-

☆i = V°/ z ☆

=> i = 200 / z

=> i = 200 / 200 _/2

Hence, i = 1/ _/2.

(4) equation of current with time :-

$\alpha = \tan( {}^{ - 1} xl \div r)$

$= \tan( {}^{ - 1} wl \div r)$

》HENCE, I = I° Sin (wt - a).
