To level the top of the school playground for the annual sports, a hand drawn roller of diameter 56cm was engaged. A group of students involved in the job found that after making 10 continuous round the roller could level an area of 15.84 metre square. Find the length of the roller.​

And, since the roller could level 15.84 sq m of area in 10 rounds,

curved surface area of the roller=15.84÷10=1.584 sq m

Now, curved surface area of a cylinder us given by

2×22/7×radius×height

=> 2×22/7×28×height=15840

=>176×height = 15840

=>height = 15840/176

height=90 cm.
