Answer: Area of road: 1980 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, Length of roller = 1m

Diameter of roller = 84cm

Now radius of roller = diameter/2

= 84/2

= 42cm

Radius of roller in meter = 42/100 m

Lateral surface area of roller = 2πRl

= 2×22/7 × 42/100 × 1

= 2.64 m²

Now, it's given that it takes 750 turns for road roller to plain the road

Therefore,

Area of road = 750 × lateral surface area of road

Area of road = 750 × 2.64

= 1980 m²

I am attaching a figure so you can understand better and grasp the concept.

Hope this answer helps you.Best of luck for your bright future.
