To make a saturated solution, 32 g of sodium chloride is dissolved in 110 g of water at normal room temperature. Find the concentration of the solution at the room temperature.

(a) Mass of solute = 32g

Mass of solvent = 100g

Mass of solution = 100 + 32

= 132g

Concentration of solution = (Mass of solute / Mass of solution ) x100

= (32/132) x 100

= 24.25%
