GIVEN:-

  • \rm{Mass\:of\:Solute=25g}

  • \rm{Mass\:of\:Solvent=75g}

TO FIND:-

  • \rm{Mass\: Percentage\:of\:Solution}

FORMULAE USED:-

{\boxed{\rm{Mass\: Percentage=\dfrac{Mass\:of\:Solute}{Mass\:of\:Solution}\times{100}}}}

EXPLANATION:-

We know,

\rm{Mass\:of\:Solution=Mass\:of\:Solute+Mass\:of\:Solvent}

\rm{Mass\:of\:Solution=25g+75g}

\rm{Mass\:of\:Solution=100g}

Now,

Mass percentage of Solution

\implies\rm{\dfrac{Mass\:of\:Solute}{Mass\:of\:Solution}\times{100}}

\implies\rm{\dfrac{25}{100}\times{100}}

\implies\rm{\dfrac{25}{\cancel{100}}\times{\cancel{100}}}

\implies\rm{25 Percent.}.

Hence, The mass Percentage of Solution is 25%.

EXTRA INFORMATION.

  • When no more solution can not be dissolved in given solution at given temperature. It is called Saturated solution.

  • if the amount of Solute contained in a solution less than the saturation level,it is called Unsaturated solution.
