Hey ananya
your answer is here
Molecular weight of NaCl = 23+35.5 58.5
mole of NaCl = 36/58.5
Concentration of NaCl mole/volume
here volume is in litre
C = (36/58.5)/(100/1000) = 6.15M

Hope this help you

 \tiny \bold{YOUR \: ANSWER : }

Mass solute ( sodium chloride ) = 36 g ( given)
Mass of solvent ( water ) = 100 g ( given )

Then, mass of solution = ( Mass by mass percentage ) of the solution

Mass of solute
= ———————— × 100 %
Mass of solvent

= 36/136 × 100%

= 26.4%
