to make chocolate cake ,red a requires 2 1/2 kg of maida ,4/5 kg of sugar and 3/20 kg of coco powder . find the weight of the mixture when these three ingredients are mixed together​

L.C.M of denominators ( 2, 5, 20) = 20

∴  \frac{5 * 10}{2 * 10} = \frac{50}{20}

    \frac{4 * 4}{5 * 4} = \frac{16}{20}

    \frac{3*1}{20*1} = \frac{3}{20}

\frac{50}{20}  + \frac{16}{20} +  \frac{3}{20} = \frac{50 + 16 + 3}{20}  = \frac{66 + 3}{20} = \frac{69}{20}

\frac{69}{20} converted to mixed fraction =  3 \frac{9}{20}

∴ Weight of mixture when all 3 ingredients are mixed together = 3 \frac{9}{20} kg
