What is the difference between measuring the volume of colored liquid and colorless liquid? ... Buret volumes are usually measured by comparing the scale on the tube to the position of the lowest point of the surface of the liquid. But if the liquid has a dark color, it's often easier to look at the top edge of the liquid.
