To obtain a particular shade of green paint , a painter mixes yellow paint and blue paint in the ratio of 3 : 5. If he used 15 liters of yellow paint, how much blue paint did he use?​

Required ratio of yellow paint to the blue paint =3:2

Amount of yellow paint used =12 L

Therefore,

amount \: of \: blue \: paint \: used =  \frac{12 \times 2}{3 }  = 8l
