To perform an experiment, take 4 ml of

sodium carbonate in a test tube and mark it A. Take 4 ml of ethanoic acid in another test tube and mark it B. Keep both the test tubes in a beaker and weigh the beaker. Add 20 drops of ethanoic acid from test tube B to sodium carbonate in test tube A. Sodium ethanoate, water and carbon dioxide are formed. Weigh the content again. But, now the new readings does not match the older ones.
