This is a simple question on concentration.
In one ml :
We have 0.03 g
We want to know how much of the solute should be added in order to make a solution with a concentration :
0.03 g / ml
CALCULATIONS
0.03 g —> 1ml
? — > 60 ml
(60/1) × 0.03 = 1.8 g
So the amount of solute to be added is thus 1.8 g.
