How to prepare temporary mount of onion peel:

• By using a pair of forceps, we can peel out the onion skin from inner side.
• Place the peel immediately on a watch glass containg water, so that it is prevented by getting fold or dry.
• Pour a drop of water on a slide and place a small part of peel on it by using thin camel hair paintbrush and make sure that the piece of peel is perfectly flat on the slide.
• Pour safronin solution this piece and then cover it it with cover slip.
