"In a biogas plant, the domestic waste gets decomposed producing combustible gases which are used for commercial and household fuel purposes.

The gases produced area source of sustainable energy, and the production process is a self sufficient one. In the decomposition process, both air and water required.

The available air and water ensures that there is growth of the methane producing bacteria, which decompose the waste material effectively.

EXPLANATION:

Biogas is formed from the decomposition of waste under anaerobic conditions. It needs water to make it slurry so that it will react quickly. Hence to produce biogas we need water but not air.

It is one of the best fuel as its production and consumption is pollution free. It is quite easy to make it and also easy to use. Therefore when we use it no side gases evolved which are mainly coming out during commercial fuels.
