This has happened because of a process called as biological magnification..
As humans are the last part of the trophic/feeder level when we spray a pesticide to the plants, the harmful chemicals move to the next organism which eats the plant, at last there is a accumilulation of all such chemicals in the last part of trophic levels which is dangerous and is in high concentration..
Ad humans are also part of the last part of the trophic level this happens
