➡GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATION OF LINEAR EQUATION IN TWO VARIABLES ⬅

Let me illustrate this point through an example .

⏪let us take the equation ,

2X + Y = 4

Now In order to represent this equation graphically, we need to find its solutions ( minimum 3) by putting different values of one .

➡For X = 0, Y=4

➡For X=1, Y= 2

➡For X=2, Y=0

Now , you need to locate these obtained points on the graph . I,e plot the points

(0,4). (1,2) and (2,0) on the graph .

NOTE : the graph of a linear equation in two variable is always a STRAIGHT line .

Hope it helps you ✌✌
