Step-by-step explanation:

Distance , s= 12km

Speed , v = 2km /hr .

Time , t = ? (to be calculated )

We know that , v = s/t

So , t = s/v

=> t = 12/ 2 hr

=> t = 6 hr = 6×30 min = 180 min

As B takes 30 min less than that of A , time taken by B is 180- 30 min = 150 min

Time taken by A is 180 minutes while that of B is 150 minutes .
