solids are tightly packed there is no place to move liguids are little far and gases have lot of spaces bw them ex perfume fragrance there is lot of space bw them so can becompressedeasily

Take 3 empty syringes.
In one of them place a piece of chalk . Fill the second one with water.Leave the third one empty.
Push the syringes one by one. you will observe that the first syringe with chalk will hardly be pushed .
When u will push the second one filled with water u will observe that u can push the syringe without applying much force as compared to the first syringe.
Now when u push the third syringe it will be pushed easily as compared to the first 2 syringes.
This proves that gases are more easily compressible than solids and liquids.
