The correct answer is A that is it will de starch the leaf. It is because when the portion of the leaf is covered with a black paper, the light can not be absorbed by the leaf and it undergoes NO photosynthesis. In order to fulfill its energy requirement, it uses all of its food stored in the form of starch in it and as a result all the starch content is removed from the leaf.
