Experiment to show matter is made up of particles :

1. Take crystals of Potassium permanganate and dissolve them in 100 ml of water.

2. Take 10 ml of this solution and dissolve in 90 ml of clear water.

3. Again Take 10 ml from this solution and dissolve in 90 ml of clear water.

4. Repeat this step 5-8 times.

5. You will observe that coloured water still after 5-8 times.

So, it show that matter is made up of very small particle.
