to show that the Apparent depth of a coin at the bottom of a bucket filled with water is less than the real depth of the coin in the water​

Answer:

It is due to dispersion of light.

A box is inside the bucket . You are asked to put the coin in the box . you cannot throw the coin in side the box because due to dispersion of light the box position seem to be on left side of the bucket but in reality it is in the middle of the box .

This phenomenon is known us the dispersion of light .
