3x - y = 3 ...(1)

9x - 3y = 9 ...(2)

From Equation (1) :

3x - y = 3

3x = 3 + y

x = 3 + y / 3...(3)

put the value of x in equation (2) :

9x - 3y = 9

9(3 + y / 3) - 3y = 9

3(3 + y) - 3y = 9

9 + 3y - 3y = 9

3y - 3y = 9 - 9

y = 0

put the value of y in equation (3)

x = 3 + 0 / 3

x = 3/3

x = 1

Hence Solution :

(x,y) = (1,0).
