The value of determinant:-

D = la1 b1l

la2 b2l

D = a1b2 - a2b1

The correct option is -5

GIVEN:-

x+y=3, 3x-2y-4=0

a1x + b1y = c1 & a2x + b2y = c2

x+y=3, 3x-2y=4

Here, a1 = 1, b1 = 1, c1 = 3

a2 = 3, b² = -2, c2 = 4

The value of determinant:-

D = la1 b1l

la2 b2l

D = l1 1l

l3 - 2l

D = a1b2 - a2b1

D = (1 × -2) - (3 × 1)

D = -2 - 3 = -5

The value of D = -5

Hope it helps
