To stitch a pant 1 m 15 cm cloth is needed. Out of 36 m cloth, how many pants can be stitched and how much cloth will remain? (With explination pls)

the length of cloth required to stitch a trouser =1m15cm

=100+15cm=115cm

Total trouser can be stitch =

2500/15

Dividing 2500 by 115, we get remainder = 21

∴ The remaining cloth = 0.73m

The no. of trousers stitched = 21
