Answer:

We know that 100cm = 1 meter

We know that 100cm = 1 metertherefore 25 cm= 25÷100 =0.25 meter

We know that 100cm = 1 metertherefore 25 cm= 25÷100 =0.25 meterTotal cloth = 30 meter

To stich a shirt 2m 25 cm is needed = 2.25 meter cloth is needed.

therefore Total shirts can be stitched out of 30 meter cloth = total cloth ÷ cloth needs to stitch one shirt

therefore total shirts can be stitched out of 30 meter cloth = 30÷2.25= 3000÷225= 13.33

To stich a shirt 2m 25 cm cloth is needed therefore to stich 13 shirts = 13 × 2.25 = 29.25 m cloth needed

Answer:

Answer: (I) Out of 30 meter cloth 13 shirts can be stitched

(ii) Cloth remain = total cloth - cloth used to stitch 13 shirts

therefore Cloth remain= 30 - 29.25 = 0.75 m

therefore 0.75 meter cloth will remain.
