2m 15cm
= 2 + 0.15
= 2.15m
Since one shirt needs 2.15m of cloth,
40m ÷ 2.15m = 18.6
To find the remaining cloth:
18 × 2.15m = 38.7m
40m - 38.7m = 1.3m
Hence, 18 shirts can be stitched and 1.3m of cloth will remain.
= 2 + 0.15
= 2.15m
Since one shirt needs 2.15m of cloth,
40m ÷ 2.15m = 18.6
To find the remaining cloth:
18 × 2.15m = 38.7m
40m - 38.7m = 1.3m
Hence, 18 shirts can be stitched and 1.3m of cloth will remain.
