19 trousers can be stitched and 30 cm cloth will remain

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Quantity of cloth required to stitch a trouser = 1  = (100+30) cm = 130 cm

( Because 1 m = 100 cm )

Available cloth = 25 m = 2500 cm

Thus,

\text{The number of stitched trousers}= \dfrac{\text{Available cloth}}{\text{Cloth required for one trouser}}

=\frac{2500}{130}

=19\frac{30}{130}

Since, number of trousers can not be a fraction,

Hence, the number of stitched trousers is 19.

And, the remaining cloth = remainder obtained after diving  available cloth by cloth required for one trouser = 30 cm.
