  • Using Lens Formula , (1/f)=(1/v)−(1/u)
  • put f=f , u=−f/2
  • we get v=−f
  • As v is negative , the image is in the same side as of object so image is virtual because we have used a convex lens.

  • magnification m=(−v/u)=−2 so the image will be double of the object in the size.

Answer:

☆Using Lens Formula , (1/f)=(1/v)−(1/u)

☆put f=f , u=−f/2

☆we get v=−f

☆As v is negative , the image is in the same side as of object so image is virtual because we have used a convex lens.

☆magnification m=(−v/u)=−2 so the image will be double of the object in the size.

Hope it helps!
