In mathematics, a collection of particular things or group of particular objects is called a set.

Well-defined means, it must be absolutely clear that which object belongs to the set and which does not.

Answer:

finite set means the set in which the number of elements are countable.

e.g. A ={2,4,6,8,......,96,98,100}

here set A is finite set i.e. which is countable

infinite set means the set in which the number of elements are uncountable.

e.g. B = {1,3,5,7,9,....... }

here set B is infinite set i.e. which is uncountable

hope it helps you
