⭕ Bromine Water Test.


✳️ The organic compound is treated with bromine water dropwise. The decolorization of bromine water shows the presence of unsaturation of organic compound.

⭕ Baeyar's Test.

✳️ The organic compound is treated with an aqueous solution of alkaline potassium permanganate. The disappearance of pink colour of potassium permanganate shows the presence of unsaturation.

⭕ How to perform Bromine water Experiment.

#️⃣1️⃣ To a solution of 0.2 gram of organic compound in water or CCl4, add bromine water or bromine in CCl4 drop wise. Shake rhe mixture after each addition.❤️

⭕ How to perform Baeyar's experiment
