Hey dude,

Take ice cubes in a beaker and kept it open place for some time. You will notice that around the beaker there are some water droplets. This droplets formed are due to condensation of water vapor around the beaker. This confirmes the presence of water vapour in air.

The water vapor is the gaseous form of water. It develops when the water is heated and due to the process of evaporation.

Explanation:

  • The water vapor is present in the atmosphere this can be demonstrated by a simple experiment.
  • You need to place 10-15 cubes of ice in crushed form in a steel container.
  • Leave the steel container undisturbed for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes you will observed that tiny water droplets will appear on the outer surface of the steel container.
  • The water droplets appear because the air outside the steel container consists of water vapors in the steel container the atmosphere is cold which allows the water vapors to condense in the container.
