Normally, deviation angle in the prism depends upon the Refractive index of the prism and the refractive index depends on material as well as wavelength of the light.

When the refractive index is larger than the larger the deviation angle and The deviation angle first increases with increasing incidence angle. The ray emerges out of the glass prism at the face after successive refractions is the emergent ray.
