Given:

The ration of frequencies are 3:5

To find:

The relative refractive index

Solution:

The formula for the speed of light.

v=c/μ

Also

t=D/C=Dμ/C

Therefore for two different  material

μ'/μ=t'/t

μ'/μ=3/5

μ'=5μ/3

So the ratio of relative refractive index is 5/3
