Step-by-step explanation:

Given Two variety of sugar are mixed in the ratio of 3 is to 5 to produce the air quality and severity are mixed in the ratio of 2 is to 3 second quality is obtained. how many kilograms of the equality has to be mixed with 10 kg of the best quality so that's equal they have in the two varieties in the ratio of 7 is to 11 may be produced

  • Let the variety of first quality sugar be x. Now the ratio is 3 :5
  • So the total quantity of first quality sugar will be 3 x + 5 x = 8 x
  • Now the total quantity of second quality sugar is 10 kg, and the ratio is 2:3
  • Therefore, the quantity of first quality sugar = 2/5 x 10 = 4 kg
  • The quantity of second variety sugar = 3/5 x 10 = 6 kg
  • Now therefore (3 x + 4) / (5 x + 6) = 7/11
  •                     11 ( 3 x + 4) = 7 (5 x + 6)
  •                    33 x + 44 = 35 x + 42
  •                    33 x – 35 x = 42 – 44
  •              So – 2 x = - 2
  •          Or x = 1
  • Therefore the total quantity of first quality sugar will be 8 x kg

                                                                                      = 8 x 1

                                                                                       = 8 kg
