An operator is said to be commutative if

A \otimes B = B \otimes AA⊗B=B⊗A

We have to prove commutativity of addition where operator

\otimes = +⊗=+

That is

A+B=B+AA+B=B+A

Take any value of A and B , for example A = 5 and B = 20.We get,

A + B = 5 + 20 = 25A+B=5+20=25

And ,

B + A = 20 + 5 = 25B+A=20+5=25

Thus,

A + B = B + AA+B=B+A

Hence, addition is commutative for all whole numbers or any type of numbers
